VALOX™ 451E Resin is a General-Purpose 20% Glass Fiber Reinforced Flame-Retardant PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) Engineering Resin designed to provide an excellent combination of High Flow Processability, Impact Strength, Stiffness, and Thermal Stability. Developed for demanding Electrical and Industrial applications, this Grade offers enhanced Molding Efficiency while maintaining the Mechanical and Flame-Retardant performance required for Modern engineered Components.

The Incorporation of 20% Glass Fiber Reinforcement Improves the Strength and Rigidity of VALOX™ 451E, enabling Molded Parts to maintain Dimensional Accuracy and Structural Integrity under Mechanical Loads. Compared to Unreinforced Grades, the material delivers improved Stiffness while Retaining good Toughness and Impact Resistance, making it suitable for components that require both Durability and Precision.

A Key Feature of VALOX™ 451E Resin is its High-Flow Formulation, which allows easier Filling of Complex Mold Geometries and Thin-Wall Sections. The enhanced Flow characteristics can help reduce Processing Challenges, Improve Production Efficiency, and support the Manufacture of Detailed components with consistent Quality and Dimensional Stability.

In addition to its Mechanical Performance, the Resin offers excellent Thermal Stability and Chemical Resistance. Components Molded from VALOX™ 451E are Capable of withstanding exposure to Elevated Temperatures, Oils, Greases, Cleaning Agents, and various Industrial Chemicals while maintaining reliable performance throughout their Service Life.
