VALOX™ 4631 Resin is a 30% Glass Fiber Reinforced Flame-Retardant PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) Engineering Resin developed for applications requiring a Strong combination of High Heat Resistance, Electrical Performance, Chemical Resistance, and Mechanical Strength. As a Member of the VALOX™ Flame Retardant Series, this Grade is engineered to deliver reliable performance in demanding Electrical and Industrial Environments where Safety and Long-Term Durability are Critical.

The 30% Glass Fiber Reinforcement provides enhanced Stiffness and Structural Strength, enabling components Molded from VALOX™ 4631 to maintain Dimensional Accuracy under Mechanical and Thermal Stress. This Reinforced formulation also contributes to Low Warpage Characteristics, making it suitable for Precision-Engineered Parts where Dimensional Stability and Assembly Fit are Essential.

In addition to its Mechanical Advantages, VALOX™ 4631 Resin offers excellent Thermal Stability and High Heat Endurance Performance. The Resin retains its Mechanical and Insulating properties when exposed to Elevated Operating Temperatures, supporting Long-Term reliability in Electrical and Electronic applications. The Polyester Matrix also provides excellent Chemical Resistance, helping components withstand exposure to Oils, Greases, Cleaning Agents, and Industrial Chemicals.
