VALOX™ 865 Resin is a 30% Glass Fiber Reinforced Flame-Retardant PBT/PET Engineering Resin designed to deliver an outstanding combination of High Heat Endurance, Mechanical Strength, Chemical Resistance, and Premium Surface Appearance. As a Member of the VALOX™ Flame Retardant Series, this Grade offers a Well-Balanced Property Profile for demanding applications requiring both Structural performance and enhanced Fire Safety.

The Blend of Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) and Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) provides excellent Thermal and Dimensional Stability, while the 30% Glass Fiber Reinforcement significantly Increases Stiffness and Strength. This Reinforced Structure enables Molded components to maintain their Shape and Integrity under Mechanical Loads and Elevated Operating Temperatures, making the material suitable for demanding Engineering Environments.

A Key Advantage of VALOX™ 865 Resin is its ability to Combine Reinforcement with excellent Surface Finish and Aesthetic Gloss. Despite its High Glass Content, the material is formulated to deliver attractive Molded Surfaces, allowing manufacturers to achieve both Visual Appeal and Mechanical performance in a Single material Solution.

The Resin also demonstrates excellent Chemical Resistance, helping Molded components withstand exposure to Oils, Greases, Detergents, and Many Industrial Chemicals.
