VALOX™ DR48 Resin is a General-Purpose 17% Glass Fiber Reinforced Flame-Retardant PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) Engineering Resin engineered to deliver an excellent balance of Strength, Stiffness, Impact Performance, and Thermal Stability. Developed for Electrical and Electronic applications, this Grade combines Reinforced Mechanical properties with reliable Flame-Retardant Performance, making it suitable for components that require both Structural Integrity and Safety Compliance.

The addition of 17% Glass Fiber Reinforcement enhances the Rigidity and Mechanical Strength of VALOX™ DR48 while maintaining good Toughness. This balanced Reinforcement Level allows Molded Parts to achieve excellent Dimensional Stability and Load-Bearing capability without Sacrificing Impact Resistance, making the material well suited for demanding Electrical applications.

A Key Advantage of VALOX™ DR48 Resin is its High Heat Performance. The material is designed to maintain Mechanical and Electrical properties when exposed to Elevated Operating Temperatures, helping Ensure Long-Term reliability in Electrical Systems and Industrial Equipment. Its Thermal Stability supports applications where Continuous exposure to Heat is Part of Normal Operating Conditions.

The Resin also provides excellent Chemical Resistance, allowing components to withstand exposure to Oils, Greases, Cleaning Agents, and various Industrial Chemicals. This Environmental Durability helps preserve both Functionality and appearance throughout the Service Life of the finished Product.
