VALOX™ DR48V PBT 17% Glass Reinforced Filled Flame Retardant Resin

Thermal Stability, Chemical Resistance for Electrical Applications

VALOX™ DR48V PBT Resin is a Flame Retardant Polybutylene Terephthalate Material Reinforced with 17% Glass Fiber. It is specifically designed for Electrical and Electronic applications that require both Mechanical Strength and a High Level of Fire Safety.

The relatively High Glass Fiber Content provides Excellent Stiffness and Load Bearing capability. This reinforcement helps molded parts retain Dimensional Accuracy when exposed to Mechanical loads and elevated operating Temperatures.

Flame Retardancy is a Critical Performance feature of VALOX™ DR48V PBT Resin. The material supports compliance with Fire Safety requirements in Electrical Systems without sacrificing Mechanical Reliability or Long Term Durability.

VALOX™ DR48V is commonly used in Electrical Connectors, Power Distribution Housings, and Industrial Electrical Assemblies. These applications benefit from the Material’s Strength, Stability, and Consistent performance over extended service life.

The Resin achieves a UL 94 V‑0 Flammability Rating at Thicknesses from 0.75 mm to 3.00 mm, clearly defining its Fire Performance Capabilities. In addition, this grade conforms to RoHS Environmental Standards, supporting use in regulated Global Markets.
