XENOY™ 1102 PC/PBT Resin. Unique Low Temperature Impact / Ductility

Advanced Chemical Resistance to General Automotive Fluids

XENOY™ 1102 PC/PBT Resin is developed for Automotive Environments where Materials must remain reliable despite constant exposure to Fluids, Temperature Variation, and Mechanical Stress. It is engineered to support under the Hood, Exterior, and Structural components where Durability is a Core Requirement.

The PC/PBT Blend combines 2 complementary Polymer behaviours into a single System. Polycarbonate contributes Toughness and Impact Resistance, while PBT provides Chemical Resistance and Dimensional Stability. Together, this creates a material Capable of performing across multiple Automotive Conditions without requiring additional Protective Layers.

XENOY™ 1102 PC/PBT Resin is specifically optimized for Low Temperature performance, maintaining excellent Ductility and Impact Strength even in Cold Environments. This ensures that Parts remain resistant to Cracking or sudden Failure during Winter Conditions, Cold Starts, or Transport Scenarios where Temperature Drops Significantly.

Another critical capability is its Advanced Resistance to Automotive Fluids, including Oils, Lubricants, and Cleaning Agents commonly Encountered in Vehicle Systems. This helps Prevent Surface degradation, Swelling, or material Weakening over time, ensuring consistent performance throughout the Component Lifecycle.

XENOY™ 1102 PC/PBT Resin also support stable manufacturing through its well balanced Flow and Molding characteristics. This allows consistent Part Formation and Dimensional Accuracy, which is Essential for components that must Integrate Precisely within Automotive Assemblies.

The material achieves UL94 HB Classification from 1.00 mm to 3.00 mm, making it suitable for General Automotive applications where baseline Flame performance is Sufficient. Its Overall Design Prioritizes Durability, reliability, and Chemical Resistance in real World Operating Conditions.

This Unique XENOY™ 1102 PC/PBT Resin is ideally suited for Automotive Housings, Exterior Trim, Structural Parts, and Fluid exposed components, where Low Temperature Toughness and Chemical Resistance are Essential for Long Term performance.

XENOY™ 1102 PC/PBT Resin is RoHS Compliant, supporting Responsible material selection while delivering Dependable performance in demanding Automotive Environments.
