XENOY™ 1105 PC/PBT Resin is engineered for applications where Surface Finish and Post Processing performance are as critical as Mechanical Properties. It is specifically developed for components that must undergo Secondary Painting Processes while maintaining Structural Integrity and Impact Resistance.

The PC/PBT Blend provides a stable Substrate that support consistent Coating Adhesion and Finishing Quality. Unlike standard Materials that may require additional treatments, this Grade is Formulated to Ensure that Painted Surfaces remain uniform, durable, and resistant to Peeling or Surface Defects during Long Term use.

XENOY™ 1105 PC/PBT Resin offers excellent Low Temperature Toughness, allowing components to maintain Ductility and Resist Cracking in Cold Environments. This ensures that Painted or Coated Surfaces are not compromised by underlying material Brittleness during Thermal Cycling or Impact Events.

The material incorporates a specialized Impact Modified System, enabling it to absorb Mechanical Energy Effectively. This is particularly valuable in applications such as Crash Related components, where Parts must deform in a controlled manner while maintaining Surface Integrity and Structural performance.

XENOY™ 1105 PC/PBT Resin also support reliable manufacturing with balanced Flow behaviour, enabling Accurate Molding of Parts that require precise Geometry before undergoing Finishing Processes. This Consistency ensures that both the Structural and Visual Aspects of the Component meet Design Expectations.

The formulation is not UL94 Rated, as its Primary Design Focus is centered on Impact performance, Surface process Compatibility, and Low Temperature Durability, rather than Flame Retardant Requirements.

XENOY™ 1105 PC/PBT Resin is ideally suited for Automotive Exterior Parts, Painted Housings, Trim components, and Safety Related Structures such as Crash Absorbers, where both appearance and Mechanical Function must be achieved together.

XENOY™ 1105 PC/PBT Resin is RoHS Compliant, supporting Responsible material selection while delivering optimized performance for Painted and finished components.
