XENOY™ CL100 PC/PBT Resin is developed to provide flexibility in Exterior Component Design, allowing Parts to be used eiTher in their Molded Color or enhanced through Secondary Painting Processes. It support a Wide range of automotive applications where both appearance and Durability must be achieved without Compromising Processing Efficiency.
The material is based on an Impact Modified PC/PBT Alloy, delivering a balance of Toughness and Chemical Resistance suitable for real World Environments. This ensures that components can withstand Mechanical Stress while maintaining Stability when exposed to Occasional Solvents or Automotive Fluids.
XENOY™ CL100 PC/PBT Resin offers excellent Low Temperature Ductility, enabling Parts to remain Flexible and resistant to Cracking in Cold Environments. This makes it particularly suitable for Exterior Automotive components exposed to varying Climate Conditions and Operational Stress.
A key advantage of this Grade is its Dual Surface capability, supporting both as Molded Colored Parts and Secondary Painted Finishes. This allows manufacturers to Choose between Cost efficient Direct Molding or enhanced AesThetic Finishing, Depending on Design Requirements.
XENOY™ CL100 PC/PBT Resin is enhanced with UV Stabilization, helping preserve Surface appearance and Mechanical Integrity over time when exposed to Sunlight and Outdoor Conditions. This ensures that both Painted and Unpainted Parts maintain their performance and Visual Quality throughout their Lifecycle.
The material demonstrates consistent Processing behaviour, enabling reliable Molding and uniform Part Quality across production. Its balanced Flow characteristics support Various Part Geometries while maintaining Structural Integrity.
The Resin achieves UL94 HB Classification from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm, providing baseline Flame performance while focusing on Impact Durability and Environmental Stability.
Meanwhile, XENOY™ CL100 PC/PBT Resin is ideal for Automotive Exterior Parts, Housings, Trims, and components requiring Either Molded in Color or Painted Finishes, where Flexibility, Impact Strength, and Chemical Resistance must be delivered in a single material Solution.
