XENOY™ CL100S PC/PBT Resin. General Purpose for Wide Applications

XENOY™ CL100S PC/PBT Resin is developed for applications where Surface appearance and Processing Efficiency must align without Relying on Secondary Finishing Operations. It is particularly suited for Parts that are used in their as Molded State, where both Visual Quality and Durability are required directly from the material.

The PC/PBT Blend provides a balanced foundation of Impact Strength and Chemical Resistance, enabling reliable performance in Automotive Environments where exposure to Occasional Solvents, Fuels, or Cleaning Agents may Occur. This ensures consistent Durability in Exterior Conditions without Surface degradation.

XENOY™ CL100S PC/PBT Resin is specifically optimized for Unpainted Automotive Exterior components, allowing manufacturers to achieve a Clean and uniform appearance directly from Molding. Its formulation Minimizes Surface Defects while maintaining Structural Integrity, making it suitable for Visible Parts without additional Coating.

A key Feature of this Grade is the Inclusion of an improved Mold Release System, which enhances Processing Efficiency by enabling easier Part Ejection and reducing Cycle Interruptions. This contributes to stable production Flow and improved manufacturing Productivity.

XENOY™ CL100S PC/PBT Resin also incorporates UV Stabilization, helping maintain Surface appearance and Mechanical performance over time when exposed to Sunlight and Outdoor Conditions. This support Long Term use in Exterior Environments where Environmental Stability is critical.

The material delivers Good Flow characteristics, allowing consistent Filling of Molds and reliable Replication of Part Geometry. This ensures uniform Part Quality across High Volume manufacturing Operations.The Resin achieves UL94 HB Classification from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm, providing baseline Flame performance while focusing on Surface Quality, Durability, and process Optimization.

XENOY™ CL100S PC/PBT Resin is Ideal for Automotive Exterior Trims, Housings, and Unpainted Visible components, where Impact Strength, Chemical Resistance, and Surface Finish must be delivered without additional Processing Steps.
