Improved Toughness Version for Safety features in Automotive Parts
XENOY™ HTX975 PBT Resin is engineered as an Advanced Structural material for Automotive and Electric Vehicle applications, where enhanced Mechanical Strength must be combined with improved Toughness for Safety critical performance. It represents a Reinforced Evolution of High Heat PBT Systems designed for demanding Structural Environments.
The formulation incorporates 35% Glass Fiber Reinforcement, creating a Highly Rigid Internal framework that delivers Superior Stiffness, Strength, and Dimensional Stability. This increased Reinforcement Level enables components to maintain Structural Integrity under Higher Loads compared to Lower Glass Filled Systems.
XENOY™ HTX975 PBT Resin builds on this Stiffness advantage by Integrating an improved Toughness Profile, ensuring that Structural Rigidity is complemented by Resistance to Brittle Failure. This makes the material particularly suitable for Automotive Safety features where both Load Bearing capability and Impact Resilience are required simultaneously.
The Resin demonstrates excellent Heat Resistance, supporting applications exposed to elevated Temperatures during both Operation and manufacturing Processes. This allows it to perform Reliably in Environments such as Electric Vehicle Systems and Front End Modules, where Thermal exposure is Common.
XENOY™ HTX975 PBT Resin is designed for use in Structural Automotive components including FEM (Front End Module), GOR (Grille Opening Reinforcement), and Grille Shutters, where High Stiffness and Durability are critical for Long Term performance. Its enhanced Mechanical Profile allows for improved Part reliability under Dynamic and Static Loading Conditions.
The material also support stable Processing behaviour, enabling consistent Molding of Highly Reinforced Structures while maintaining Dimensional Accuracy and Part Quality across production.
This XENOY™ HTX975 PBT Resin serves as an improved Version of XENOY™ HTX575, delivering Higher Reinforcement and enhanced Toughness for more demanding Structural and Safety Related applications.
XENOY™ HTX975 PBT Resin is RoHS Compliant, supporting Responsible material selection while delivering High Strength, Heat resistant performance for Advanced Automotive and EV applications.
