XENOY™ X4820 PC/PBT Resin. Unique 7.5% Mineral Filled High Modulus

Low Creep, High Chemical Resistance, High Ductile & Excellent Fatigue

XENOY™ X4820 PC/PBT Resin is engineered to deliver consistent performance in applications where Materials are subjected to repeat Stress, Long Term Loading, and Cyclical use Conditions. It is designed to maintain Structural Integrity over time, making it suitable for Dynamic and Fatigue Sensitive Environments.

The formulation incorporates 7.5% Mineral Reinforcement, which enhances Stiffness and Increases Modulus while maintaining a balanced Level of Ductility. This Moderate Mineral Loading helps improve Structural Rigidity without introducing excessive Brittleness often associated with Higher Filler content.

XENOY™ X4820 PC/PBT Resin offers a Low Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE), allowing components to maintain Dimensional Stability across Temperature Changes. This ensures that Parts retain alignment and Fit within Assemblies, even when exposed to varying Operating Conditions.

A key advantage of this Grade is its Low Creep behaviour, which enables components to resist deformation under continuous Load. This, combined with excellent Fatigue Resistance, allows parts to perform reliably in applications Involving repeated Mechanical Stress or Vibration.

XENOY™ X4820 PC/PBT Resin also demonstrates High Chemical Resistance, ensuring Durability when exposed to Automotive Fluids, Industrial Chemicals, and Environmental Contaminants. This enhances its suitability for demanding real World Environments where exposure Conditions cannot be controlled.

The material maintains Good Impact Strength and Heat Resistance, ensuring that Toughness is preserved alongside Stiffness and Durability. This balance support both Structural performance and Long Term reliability.

XENOY™ X4820 PC/PBT Resin achieves UL94 HB Classification from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm, providing baseline Flame performance while focusing on Mechanical Durability and Fatigue Resistance.

The Unique XENOY™ X4820 PC/PBT Resin is Ideal for Automotive Body Panels, Window Rails, door Panels, Power Tool Housings, and EV components, where Low Creep, High Modulus, and Resistance to repeated Stress are critical for Long Term performance.
