XENOY™ X5100 Resin. PC/PBT Blend Low-Temperature Impact Strength

Excellent Flow with standard Chemical Resistance for Mild Contact

XENOY™ X5100 PC/PBT Resin is engineered as a practical Solution for Automotive applications where process Efficiency, Durability, and consistent performance must be Delivered Together. It serves as a Foundation Grade material that support reliable function without Introducing Unnecessary Complexity.

The PC/PBT Alloy provides a balanced combination of Impact Strength, Chemical Resistance, and Dimensional Stability, enabling components to perform under typical automotive conditions. This ensures Dependable behaviour in Parts exposed to Mechanical Stress as well as occasional contact with Solvents or Fuels.

XENOY™ X5100 PC/PBT Resin delivers enhanced Low Temperature Impact Strength, allowing components to remain durable and resistant to cracking in colder environments. This makes it suitable for Exterior and Structural Parts where Temperature Variation is a Consideration.

A defining feature of this grade is its excellent flow capability, which enables efficient Molding and consistent Part Replication. This support High Volume production and allows manufacturers to achieve reliable Part Quality across Complex Geometries.

XENOY™ X5100 PC/PBT Resin also maintains balanced Long Term Properties, ensuring that components retain performance over time under real world Conditions. This contributes to improved Safety and Durability in Automotive Systems by reducing the Risk of Early material Fatigue or degradation.

The Resin demonstrates Sufficient Chemical Resistance for Mild exposure, supporting applications where occasional contact with Automotive Fluids or Cleaning Agents may Occur without affecting Structural Integrity.

XENOY™ X5100 PC/PBT Resin achieves UL94 HB Classification from 1.50 mm to 3.00 mm, providing baseline Flame performance while focusing on Mechanical Reliability and Processing Efficiency.

The XENOY™ X5100 PC/PBT Resin is well suited for Automotive Housings, Structural components, Trims, and General Purpose Parts, where Impact Strength, Flow performance, and Cost Effective manufacturing must be achieved together.

XENOY™ X5100 PC/PBT Resin is RoHS Compliant, supporting Responsible material selection while delivering practical performance for Wide Automotive applications.
