XENOY™ X5101 PC/PBT Resin is engineered for Automotive applications where Materials must maintain Durability under combined Environmental Stresses, including Low Temperatures, Moisture exposure, and Contact with Automotive Fluids. It is designed to Enhance reliability in real World Operating Conditions where multiple Factors Interact Simultaneously.

The PC/PBT Alloy provides a balanced Structure with Impact Strength, Hydrolytic Stability, and Chemical Resistance, allowing components to perform Consistently over extended Service Periods. This ensures that Parts remain Functional even when exposed to Humidity, Temperature Fluctuations, and Chemical Contact.

XENOY™ X5101 PC/PBT Resin delivers excellent Low Temperature Impact Strength, ensuring that components remain Ductile and resistant to Cracking in Cold Environments. This makes it particularly suitable for Exterior Automotive Parts and Safety Related components exposed to varying Climates.

A key Feature of this Grade is its Hydrolytic Stability, which enhances Resistance to Moisture Related degradation. This allows Parts to maintain Mechanical performance in Humid or Water exposed Environments, extending Durability compared to standard Grades.

XENOY™ X5101 PC/PBT Resin also support Paintable Surface Compatibility, enabling components to be finished through Secondary Coating Processes while maintaining Structural Integrity beneath the Surface.

The material demonstrates Good Resistance to Solvents and Gasoline, allowing it to withstand Occasional exposure without Compromising performance. This ensures reliable use in Automotive Environments where Fluid Contact may Occur.

XENOY™ X5101 PC/PBT Resin is not UL94 Rated, as it is optimized for Mechanical Durability, Environmental Resistance, and Long Term Stability, rather than Flame Retardant Functionality.

Meanwhile, XENOY™ X5101 PC/PBT Resin is ideally suited for Automotive Exterior components, Housings, Trims, and Structural Parts, where Low Temperature Toughness, Moisture Resistance, and Long Term Durability must be Delivered Together.
